Honestly, we’ve had our fill of spritzes. What’s new and refreshing and different to drink this summer?
We’re so glad you asked!
Our creative team at the Merc has created new twists on three classic summer cocktails using Capital Call wines.
These mouthwatering wine-based cocktails will bring a little extra brightness to your backyard dinner parties, brunches with besties, or when you just want to sit on the front porch and watch the world go by.
A fresh and fruity version of the classic mojito
In a generous wine glass, muddle four mint leaves with the simple syrup. Fill the glass nearly full of ice. Add the vodka, lemon juice, and Rosé. Stir with a bar spoon and garnish with a sliced ripe strawberry.
A more sophisticated take on sangria
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour all ingredients into the shaker. Shake until chilled and strain into martini glass or cocktail coupe. Garnish with a twist of lime.
Enjoy this aromatic summer garden in a glass
Add all ingredients into a large cocktail shaker and fill ¾ of the way with ice. Shake for ten seconds and pour unstrained into a large wine glass. (If you want to pull the fruit out with your fingers to eat, go for it!)
