WALLA WALLA VALLEY AVA

Wheatfield Vines Vineyard is rooted in the agricultural heritage of the Walla Walla Valley, a region long known for its productive farmland and distinctive growing conditions. The Valley spans both Washington and Oregon, with elevations ranging from 400 to 2,000 feet and rainfall increasing from seven inches in the west to more than 22 inches near the Blue Mountains. Its well‑drained loess soils and long, warm growing season create an environment well suited for cultivating high‑quality fruit.

Within this landscape, Wheatfield Vines is committed to growing fruit that reflects the character of the Valley and strengthening the connection between the land and those who work with its harvest. The vineyard encompasses 29 acres and is planted to four varietals: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Syrah.
