Andrew ‘Andrés’ Dankel-Ibañez (AD Ibañez) is a third generation musician who is a semi-professional trumpeter and flugelhornist based in the Walla Walla Valley. AD moved to the area as a teenager in 1991 and has performed and recorded jazz, latin, rock, reggae, hiphop, and classical music in numerous bands throughout the Northwest and Latin America for over 30 years.
Phil Lynch is originally from Orange County, California and has been a professional guitarist and teacher for more than 30 years, performing his unique style of jazz, blues, rock and rockabilly in clubs and musical theater from Los Angeles to Seattle. Phil moved to the WW Valley in 2003 and is a guitar instructor at Whitman College as well was a band teacher at Walla Walla Catholic Schools. He is a highly sought after musician and has played in a number of local bands, from big band swing and Chicago blues to Acoustic jazz.
Andrés and Phil have performed together since 2003, currently leading the popular fusion band, Los Amigos Con Groove, and often performing their original sound locally as a duo.
