EXPERIENCE WINDHORSE

We are delighted to welcome guests to the Windhorse Vineyard just outside of The Dalles, Oregon, for a curated wine tasting and picnic experience and an opportunity to stay overnight at our Windhorse Cabin (coming 2025). The breathtaking views of the vineyard with Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams in the backdrop at over 1,200 feet elevation overlooking the Mill Creek Valley will thrill and provide plenty of photo opportunities.

Day Immersion

VINEYARD TOURS & PICNIC WITH TASTING

The Experience

Available Seasonally From April Through September

Tour highlights include a conversation about the history of the Columbia Gorge AVA with Dr. Alan Busacca, soil scientist and Ph.D., and partner in Windhorse Vineyard and Capital Call Vintners. Alan will highlight the terroir and farming practices on Windhorse and the geology of the Columbia Gorge, while guests enjoy a wine flight featuring wines from Windhorse Vineyard as well as our second estate vineyard, Wheatfield Vines Vineyard in Walla Walla.

We recommend allowing 3 hours for this experience. We encourage all to bring walking shoes (tennis shoes are fine), a layer to protect against the wind or sun, and an adventurous spirit. We can’t wait to share this breathtaking experience with you.
