DESCRIPTION:Michael Agidius has been immersed in music since childhood\, beginning with choir solos at age four and later studying piano and saxophone with a focus on jazz and classical styles. After a 31-year career teaching music in Milton-Freewater\, Oregon\, he went on to build and direct the big band program at Walla Walla University for 14 years. Since retiring in 2018\, he has focused on performing\, bringing his talents to jazz\, blues\, rock\, country\, and regional ensembles including the Walla Walla Symphony and Pendleton Round-Up Mounted Band.
